14 oz package of turkey smoked sausage, chopped
14.5 oz can of sauerkraut
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium apple, peeled and diced
1 cup white wine (I usually use Chardonnay)
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a pot on the stove top. Bring to a boil. Cover (with lid tilted a little to vent), reduce heat to low and simmer for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until sausage is cooked and onions are tender.
